You have to be careful who you let represent your organization.
I didn't learn this lesson soon enough.
I'm not talking about someone who got fired from your team and started talking shit online about the company and you.
They'll do that, but think about things this way:
You hire a sales person who is absolutely manipulative.
Guess what?
When they train your new sales people, they'll train them to be the same.
You have to rank people based on what they are.
Are they a 5 or a 7?
Maybe they're a 10.
Who you put in leadership positions will be the representatives of your organization.
Whomever you put in that place, there's a trickle down effect.
Go for 10s.
The way you find 10s is to establish metrics and KPIs that represent excellence.
Hire those people and let them do their work.
Make sure they represent the core values and mission of your company above and beyond your expectations.
And watch your company thrive on autopilot.

I lost my shit the other day on my 13-year-old son.
We were fishing and I told him to grab a tool from the toolbox.
A fish had a hook stuck in his gills.
I don't like killing fish.
I love catch and release.
30 minutes before, he was looking for it and never put it back.
I laid into him and tore him a new asshole.
An hour after he was done being mad at me, we had a talk about "Man Law."
If I give you a knife closed, hand it back to me closed.
Same with any other item.
If you spend the night at someone's house, make sure everything was as you found it.
Same applies for the toilet seat.
When we go camping, people leave their trash.
Not our family. We pick up every little piece of trash and paper.
The law of man is to leave things as they were or better.
Give it back as you found it, or put in back in the place you found it, but no matter what, leave it better than you found it.
This applies to everything in your life.

Don't try to help them out.

The reason people lose friends when doing business is the emotional connection they have to money.
The emotional connection to the entitlement and lack of gratitude when hard decisions have to be made.
I've done business with a lot of people who were ONCE friends.

I don't mean to be an alarmist, but if you are an employee for a company, you will be replace in the not to distant future.
A.I. is more cost-effective.
It doesn't complain, need a salary.
Take vacations.
Ask for raises.
Need sick days.
401K and retirement.
The best thing you can do is to become an entrepreneur.
If you don't own or control the tech, it's going to own you.
Get on the front side of this before it is completely here.
You have maybe 5 good years doing whatever it is you're doing and don't think for a moment we won't figure out how to do some amazing things and replace 90% of the jobs in the world these days.
The best advice I can give you is to find something that's not sexy.
Something that's going to be needed.
Start a company around that.
Build the tech.

The media is lying to you.

I have been to therapists.
If you are a providing man, the truth is, it's going to be hard.
It will be lonely.
You will be living a life of conditional love.
Most people have problems.
Business owners, fathers......they're all surrounded by conditional love.
Our children.......as soon as we can't take care of them, they're out on their own.
Our wives.......if we can't provide the life they dreamed of, they'll leave us......
It's conditional. Everyone leaves when you don't provide for them.
Instead of rallying around men in struggle, we leave them.
If you have 10 friends, 7 of them will move in on your spouse when you hit hard times.
They'll move in on your business.
Your business partners.
Your clients.
This shit has happened to me in 2017 and 2024.
As a man, when you go through a tough time and you tell another man, they'll use it against you.
There have been moments in my life where therapy was required..........

I got out of federal prison over 20 years ago.
I was married.
Had my wife leave me while I was in.
I was a millionaire when I went in and came out broke.
She took everything.
I was fueled by rage, hurt, anger, and I made it my mission to prove everyone wrong who fucked me over.
I was cut so deep, I was turned into a monster.
I had to convert all that into reading books, learning, growing, and earning.
Around 2018, I wasn't mad anymore at those people.
I had worked my way into millions.
Driving my favorite cars.
Life got good.
I had attracted a woman I love and who loves me.
Added onto my family.
The thing that fueled me wasn't there anymore once I got everything I wanted.
I had to find a new source of fuel.
Anger and rage are good motivators in the beginning, but it burns fast and hot.
When I refueled, I had to do it from a place of abundance.
I did it with my core values:
Responsibility
Integrity
Service
Excellence
In order to do this, I had to shed the anger and rage and replace them with abundance and gratitude.
If you want to keep rolling down the highway, you need a Rolls or Cadillac to do it smoothly.
Hot Rods burn out.

In life, you need the 3 Cs.
The first one is connection.
In business, if you're the go-to guy for anything from attorneys, to doctors, or other service providers, you'll never have to go make new friends. They'll come to you as long as you're doing the right things.
The second C is Capital. You need money to run your business. And yes, those who are worth $50 million dollars sometimes need capital. In order to keep things rolling, you have to have capital.
The last and most powerful C is Coaching. I don't coach anyone, but you need to have a mentor to help you navigate where you want to go.
I suggest finding someone who is above you in business. If you are grossing $5M a year, find someone who is doing $20-$25M to help you.
Pay them for their time and save yours in the process by expediting your learning curve.
Stick to the 3 Cs and you'll have everything you need.

When you look at the chart of evolution, there's the amoeba, tadpole, and so on and so forth.
This earth has billions of years of practice and experience.
It didn't stop at the tadpole or cave man.
We're continuing to evolve.
Human 2.0 is going to be what we see as aliens.
I know it sounds crazy.
The alien you just envisioned in your head has black eyes, triangular head, smaller chin, no ears...when you think of an alien, you might see green or gray.
I'm not saying aliens from the future are like us.
We're all merging.
Evolving into one race.
We'll be one thing.
Their heads are bigger because of the neurochip to help us grow, learn and develop.
The blacked out eyes are our meta glasses.
It has speakers. What do you need ears for?
We may as well merge with A.I. so we can get in line.
We're not going back from tech.
The first way to merge with tech:
Remember, whatever is going to happen, it's inevitable.
Those who get onboard with tech in the next 2 years will be ahead of everyone else.
They'll become the middle class.

My ranch hand is a guy who I did a little federal time with in prison.
He's got a tattoo on his neck that says "1%er."
This comes from a phrase citing it's not others you have to look out for....it's the one percent that will cause the most damage. You have to look out for them.
This got me thinking so I aske Grok what it meant for a human being to be the elite 1%.
It started identifying my strengths.
I work out and can press 250 pounds. I'm just below the one percent for my age.
My weight, and body fat.......sitting in the 1% at 45 years of age.
I asked about my business and shared my assets, income, and it shot back that I'm in the 1% of business owners.
What does 1% mean to you?
Get clear on that and focus on what has to happen for you to be the 1% you want to be.
Everyone should strive for this.

Let me give you a little lesson on finance.
Just a few years ago, I thought I needed to have all the fancy things that were being promoted online.....
The private jets, expensive vacations, Rolexes, $1,000 pairs of shoes, name brand jeans.......
And let me tell you this........
I always felt uncomfortable in those things.
A part of it was knowing what it was to be poor a few times in my life.
My ego told me I needed to have these things to be "someone."
So, I bought these things knowing they would get me into rooms where I would look sharp, but still be the brokest motherfucker in a room.
In many aspects, I got an exponential return on investing in these items including the lessons that come with it.
First thing you should know........
Those flexing their Lambos, private jets, Gucci belts............they're really not rich, nor wealthy.
I've met wealthy people.
They drive regular cars or trucks and own things of signifigance like buildings, land, and other financial assets that make them returns.
When I realized I didn't need all those things I started getting into bigger rooms.
I added value and started getting noticed.
People that could actually afford private jets turned me onto the game of how they got wealthy and stayed that way.
They started by wearing regular clothes and flying American Airlines.
There's one simple secret on how to live like nobody else, so you can live like nobody else.

I look back over the last few years of my life and I've spoken on big stages next to some pretty big names.
Andy Frisella
Ed Mylett
David Goggins.
And while this has been very impressive and a huge highlight in my life, I have a new found appreciation.
I bought a ranch a few years ago, and I recently hosted a Man Camp for Dads and sons.
We taught them everything from working with knives, guns (I just taught, and did NOT hold a firearm), educated them on the farm ecosystem, got up locase with the cows, rode ATVs, fished, did some grilling out, and walked the land a bit.
There was nothing more rewarding than teaching kids things you can't learn on an electronic device.
Seeing their Dads spend time with them without interference or checking their phones was priceless.
We provided an experience that will stay with those 12 kids and 10 Dads forever.
There's no better time spent than taking in nature under the sun in open fields.
I'm not sure when I'll have the next event like this (probably not in the summer), but when I do, I hope you get a chance to take advantage of it.
It doesn't have to be with me, but if you're fortunate to create that space for you and your children in your life, it's one I promise you won't regret.
The best part, no one got hurt.
Some of the kids left holding their heads a bit higher having learned new, practical skills and feeling great about themselves.
Build confident children.
They're the adults of tomorrow.

I have it on good authority that the Congress and President are working to repeal Dodd Frank and the regulations that have been handed down over Lending standards in our country.
It's been throttling our economy for far too many years and was presented under the guise of protecting consumers.
It was one of the biggest moves of greed (shoutout and RIP John McCain).
They're about to open up a new sub-prime boom in order to reignite our housing and economy to allow people to own homes again.
This will allow poeple to get into the right home at the right price.
This is part of the bill that will repeal taxation on tip income.
